I've eaten nothing but fruit and vegetables today, and I'm actually sorta surprised at how satisfied it makes me. All I keep thinking about is, in a couple months I'll have access to even more different produce beacause of the seasonal change (woo!)

It's nice to be successful at what you aim to do..even if it is only one day. Hopefully the trend will continue, but I'm really grateful to have found this site so far. Even if no one in the world reads my constant whining and reflection, at least I feel like I've gotten "everything" out for the day in a journal of sorts.

I'm one step closer to being a better role model for my students and family!

1. Favorite book to read in class: The Giving Tree
2. Favorite subject to teach: English (and Art, and History, and Scienc..ahh!)
3. Current Praxis II studied: ESL (then on to Art and Spanish..woot!)
4. Favorite math strategy: Turn and Talk- small group

    I love Shel Silverstein. He's def. a fav. The giving tree always makes me sad.... That kid was a jerk ..:P

    Good job with the fruits and veggies! It's good when trends continue, but it's awesome that you're taking it one day at a time. You have to develop a good habit for one day, before you can have that habit for one hundred days!!

Incase this helps, I was vegan for a while (not saying you're being vegan, just having a veggie heavy diet emoticon ), and from my experience the main thing you have to worry about with a veggie and fruit heavy diet is B-vitamins, but nature seems to take care of the rest. emoticon

    I guess because I'm hypoglycemic, I'm concerned about protein ~ are you getting any? Also good carbs. However, that's me. You're doing good!
