I'm starting over and it's awesome!
Someone had told me that it was ridiculous that I couldn't keep up with the low carb/paleo lifestyle. I was told that I should take the extra 5 minutes to make food for myself.
Really, dude, really? It takes 5 minutes to make a bowl of oatmeal. Or make some ramen. Or a sandwich. All of which are NOT paleo friendly. If all I had to worry about was my job, that would be one thing. But just so we're clear I'm working 30 -40 hours a week (5 days) at work and I'm going to school 5 days a week for 30 hours.
Bite me. When I work 7a -3pm and then go to school 4p - 930pm, what am I supposed to do? Also please note that I have to go to school directly from work because it is 30 minutes away (don't forget that rush hour traffic I'm dealing with so it takes longer) so I don't have 3p - 4p off. When the hell am I supposed to make food?
I also get home from school at 10pm (if I'm lucky) and then have to be up at 530 am to start it all over again. So yea, taking that extra time to make breakfast is a pain in the a$$.
So please, until you walk in my shoes for a while, don't tell me I'm being a lazy a$$. Until I'm not putting in 70+ hour weeks, I'll have to make do with what I got.
