Yesterday, I went jogging for the first time in over a year. It felt great, although I only made it a half mile. I've also been pretty successfully taking outtings with the bean in his carrier and stroller. The local running club is starting a run/walk group on Wednesday evenings for folks who aren't quite up to the speed of their normal running group, and I'm going to check that out. It's really just a matter of making it out of the house; once I'm exercising, I really enjoy it.

Meanwhile, nursing the bean is gradually melting off the weight. I'm eating healthy (for the most part), and not calory counting or anything. I'm guessing that the weight loss will level off at some point.

I really want this healthy change in my life to be permanent, and I feel like I can do it now that I no longer have the pressure and distractions that led to my ballooning up in weight in the first place. It's just a matter of making it happen.

Well done getting right back into jogging! You're building some great healthy habits that the bean can learn from as he grows older - healthy activity being the norm.
