I started this 5k challenge 8 weeks ago and am very happy to say I completed a "virtual" 5k run this morning. It took me 52 minutes - not the best time but something to shoot for the next time. I jogged most of the way, only walking long enough to catch my breath. So definitely some goals to shoot for. I will be traveling for 3 solid days starting tomorrow morning and so will have limited access to any serious exercising, but after I've landed, it's back to the 5k training for me. My goal is to run a real one and to run it faster.
