Happy Weight calculator.......

Tuesday, April 24, 2012

Quest bars, love'm! My new fav is the lemon, tart and sweet with 20g of protein....I may be getting addicted.

I found this nifty little link from Self magazine on line to calculate your "Happy Weight"
www.self.com/calculators
programs/calculators/happy
weight

Mine is 124.6

Which explains why I keep re-setting to that number. I just think it is fun to do some of the calculators they have out.

Why did Blogger delete my reading list???

If anyone is on blogger please give me your blog name or link so I can follow it again. I don't like wordpress now the IT department at blogger is making me *sigh over this.

If you do the happy weight calculation, let me know if you feel it is correct...all in fun!

Interesting. My "happy weight" was calculated to be 128, and while I'm in the low-to-mid-130s at the moment and consider myself to be "in maintenance," I do kind of want to lose a few more pounds. So I think that calculation is fairly close. Thanks for the link!

I got 122.2. I was down to 107 at one point but had no muscle tone. I've added quite a bit of muscle and felt I was at my fittest at 118. I'm floating around 125-129 without much diligence, but I wouldn't call it happy weight.

Interestingly - my current maintenance weight is less than the happy weight they calculate.
The happy weight turns out to be my first goal weight (the lowest number I could imagine when I started SP), which was my wedding weight??
Not sure what that is telling me? Fun to do though

Mine says 138.2....hmmm! My goal weight currently is 145, so this "happy weight" is a little lower. I haven't been in the 130s since Junior year in high school...but who knows!

Mine said 158.5 would love to get there have not seen that number in yrs. The one thing that these things never account for is true muscle mass. I am @ 174 now and although I certainly could lose about ten lbs in the belly I do have very large toned legs both thighs and calves have always been very solid muscle. I was a hockey player as a kid and then took up cycling I have a strong lower body now if I could only get that six pack abs!! My goal is 165 right now and once I get there I will think about the 158.5 I think I could be quite "Happy" at 165 too!!!

I liked that! I had to take it twice. It asked if I had kids, and I do...but adopted and I figured they meant biologically, so I went back and said "no" kids (that feels weird to say). Sure enough, the weight was different. 122.2 with 2 kids, 117.2 with no kids. Remember, I made it all the way down to 117 and I think I will make that my new ULTIMATE goal instead of the 110.
