One Evening at a Time

Success tonight!

Got home from a long day, put together a pizza. Ate two reasonable pieces with a glass of milk, and haven't eaten since.

And I was tired--one of my weak points. But--I got out of the kitchen. Actually, all of the way out of the house. Was going to work outside, but then my husband noted that he had hardly any steps and was going for a walk. My new habit is that if he walks, I walk too, so I went along. Good move. We had some good conversation.

I got home and started a new book about being an introvert--Quiet, by Susan Cain. Promises to be good. And that may keep me out of the kitchen, too.

And now I'll go back in the kitchen to get the coffee ready for the morning--I SO look forward to my first cuppa each day.

After that--I should do at least one household chore today. I think it'll be washing out the bathtub.

How exciting is MY life!?

A quiet YAY for what feels like a good evening.
