This morning after class, I went to the pool and swam 600 yards, and it took me about 18 minutes. This is about 2 minutes less than it took me to swim 500 yards in the Evergreen triathlon last summer. So I guess my ST is working.
What isn't working is the food. Today I started logging my food again. I'm so frustrated. I trained for 2 months for that tri over the weekend, I've been putting miles on my bike every day, and I've been ST 2x a week all year, and I've lost ONE POUND in the past 2 months. I wouldn't care so much about the number on the scale if my clothes were getting looser, but they're not.
I feel like I'm starving all the time, or maybe it's in my head. I do really awesome for b-fast and lunch, and then after lunch I start grazing while I'm studying, and by dinnertime I've lost control and I have no appetite for dinner. :(
It doesn't help much that the pantry is empty and there are still 4 days until payday.
So I'm back to logging and eating clean and sticking with water during study time. *sigh*
