Weekend roundup and Monday goals

Friday and Saturday:

emoticon Eat Clean: Goal met!

It was a weekend of clean leftovers – leftover salad, leftover hummus, leftover chickpeas, leftover potato puffs, etc.
Add lettuce and create different combinations in order to make lots of different meals to get rid of your leftovers!

emoticon Drink your water: Goal met!

Filtered water throughout the day + Earl Grey tea in the morning + 1 cappuccino after supper.

emoticon Move your body: Goal Met!

Friday: 1 hour of Zumba

Saturday: Phase 1, Day 2 of the Jamie Eason’s Live Fit Trainer - back and biceps

Sunday’s goal was “Pamper Yourself” so I lined up all my nail varnishes like ducks sitting in a row and then, treated myself to a home mani/pedi.



I settled on this cornflower blue nail varnish.



I ate clean (banana and blueberry smoothie for breakfast, mixed salad with clean leftovers for lunch, sweet potato and coconut milk soup for supper) and I drank my water. However, I didn’t exercise – it’s nice to take a day off!


Today Monday’s goals:

emoticon Eat Clean: Goal met!

Breakfast: Banana and blueberry smoothie

Snack: Oat crackers

Lunch: Chickpeas and Brown Rice salad, vanilla soya yogurt + 1 apple



Snack: almonds + sultanas

Supper: I had supper at my friend’s and we had mixed salad with tuna, tomatoes and sweetcorn, 1 small chocolate after my meal.

Snack (post-workout): protein green monster

Filtered water throughout the day + Earl Grey tea in the morning + Green tea with lemon during my breaks at work.

emoticon Move Your Body: Goal met!

I couldn’t go dancing tonight. I had to buy new clothes for my son over the weekend (he’s just had a massive growth spurt and all his clothes are becoming too short/small) and it left me short on money.

So, as soon as I came back from my friend’s, I jumped into my workout clothes and did Phase 1, day 3 of the Jamie Eason’s Live Fit trainer: legs.

    I understand about those growth spurts. It's about time for longer pants for mine. The older one I can delay for a couple of months. He'll wear shorts all summer long but the younger one doesn't like shorts.

Sounds like you are doing quite well on meeting your daily goals. Good for you!
