Reading other blogs and seeing people who have lost hundreds of pounds- I just can't understand why I can't seem to budge just TEN!
Well, actually I do think I know why it's so hard. I'm just not sure how to overcome them and make it happen. I really would like to know how it feels to be contented with my body for once in my life. I wonder though....would I be??
Reasons that losing the last 10 pounds to goal is so difficult (for me):
-It doesn't seem as urgent because my clothes are more comfortable.
-I don't feel the extra weight as physically as I did 20 pounds ago, so it's not on my mind as much.
-I feel like I look better, so I'm not as obsessed with losing as I was before.
-I miss eating my favourite foods whenever I want to. (ooohhh daily peanut butter, how I love thee!)
-I'm sick and tired of tracking every bite I eat. It's boring now.
-It's more difficult to lose than it was at a higher weight. The smaller I get, the less food and more exercise I have to do to lose.
I don't know how to break out of the slump and kick the last 10 pounds to the curb. If anyone has any bright ideas, let me have 'em.
