gave in this weekend

Monday, April 23, 2012

This weekend I didn't track anything...didn't eat right...was just too tired to even think about it...but today is a new day and I'm getting back on the wagon and wont fall off this weekend. Looking back at yesterday's mistakes will make doing the right thing today seem useless but looking forward to doing the right thing today and tomorrow will make me feel empowered.

You need to just focus on one day at a time. Don't let yesterday's mistakes affect today's success. And don't let today's success be an excuse to fail tomorrow. Back when I was successfully Sparking before, I tried to adopt this "best day" mentality. I just tried to do my best on any given day. Sometime my "best" for one day wasn't as good as my "best" on another day, depending on what else was going on in my life. But if I could go to bed knowing I did my best THAT DAY, then I considered it a successful day.
