A day in town

Sunday, April 22, 2012

Okay so what do I do with a husband who says lets go to breakfast in town which is one hour away and doesn't bring you home until 5 pm?

We ended up spending the day in town. I ate salmon for dinner trying to be good but at breakfast where he took me they had donuts or a ham and cheese croissant. After listing the croissant I guess I would have been better off having the donut! I did try today. No snacking and choosing right for dinner.

We did have chores to do in town so we got a lot done. When I returned I spent 2 1/2 hours doing yard work.

Tomorrow is another day.

Well, you had a good day, got a lot done. Enjoyed some good food and it is one day.
It is about the week, not the day.
Be glad for the day and have a great one today, as well!

I feel for you. I sabotaged myself by inviting everyone for dinner and making a nice dinner including a cake chosen by my DD. Did not read the box (It was a frozen Cheesecake Factory cake. That think had 650 calories per slice, which normally is the bulk of my dinner allowance. Oh well, it is only one day. Will do better the rest of the week! Have a great week!

Some days will be like this but you can only do what you can do and you did well.

We can only do the best we can with the information that we have. Sometimes the obvious choice isn't the right one. Now you'll know for next time. I'm sure with all of the running around you did in town that you burned off the extra calories.
