Everything in life is two fold. If you really think about it, there are only two real choices out there. To do something or to not do something. It's not the matter of how you do it or don't do it, the choice is still the same. Either you have done it, or you haven't. Huh...seems so simple and yet we make it all so complex.

I was faced with a choice tonight. It was 8:00 and I had not done anything in the way of exercise for the day. Hmmm...what to do? Do I just brush it off and say I will do it tomorrow. Or do I get up and find SOMETHING to do? I chose the put on my shoes and take a very chilly, but refreshing walk around my apartment complex.

I have found one of my biggest motivators is music. Music makes you think, makes you go harder, makes you want to take another lap....somehow music puts me in a mood of feeling life superwoman and I can do anything. It felt good to know I didn't let laziness win today. It may have not been a small victory, but you have to take all the victories you can get. Each battles helps to win the war.

Thank you for your blog! I think I was meant to find it! It's 9pm and I had to work 1-5 where I also work out...I didn't get a chance to work out at all because we had SO many errands to run before I had to go in...and I was 15 mins late because it took so long to get out of the grocery store. (They said downpours for today and tomorrow's forecast, and you would have thought they said the word 'blizzard' instead of rain!

I went to work with a protein bar and chobani, and nothing else except my water until dinner. Now, I sit here feeling exhausted and wanting to go to bed, but wondering what choice to make, just as you described!

Thank you for this because although it won't be much, I am going to do some of the strength training exersizes suggested on the site before bed...every minute does count! It's the choice to do it that is the most important in order to make every minute you clock, really count. :-)

Great blog! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
