5k Done!

Sunday, April 22, 2012

Today I completed my first 5k! I don't even think I can blog about it yet as my thoughts are all over the place, but I did want to thank everyone for encouraging me and for all the advice you shared.

I feel great! It was a huge accomplishment! I came in under my goal time & really enjoyed it...even though you can't tell by the look on my face! :)

Thanks to the Couch to 5k program for making this achievable!

Lois!!!! I am so proud and happy for you!!!! What a feeling of accomplishment you must be experiencing! And you came in under your goal time! It's always exciting to get a little push from the adrenaline of the race itself and your own competition with yourself.

I'm looking forward to reading your thoughts after you get them collected enough to blog. The feeling of something bigger than yourself, and doing something totally new that you never thought possible is just overwhelming.

    Yay you!
