Why is getting back on track so hard?

Hello my lovely Spark friends,
Why is getting back on track so hard? For the past 2 weeks I have been living a healthy sparked life, unfortunately, I stepped on the scales this morning, only to realize that I gained 2 pounds. It is really hard on me. I have done everything right. Counted the calories and always stayed in the suggested range. Worked out three times a week, drank 8-10 ounces of water every day.
I dislike my metabolic system right now! Why is it giving me such a hard time. I know the weight will eventually come down. Since I didn't sin, I am pretty sure it must be muscles growing or so, but yet, it is frustrating. It is hard to stay motivated and not get into a "who cares" attitude. How do you overcome setbacks?
