My weekly goals:
*Eat 26 Weight Watcher points daily following the good health guidelines.
*Track 49 weekly bonus points. I use them or lose them.
* Accumulate 400 minutes of Physical activity.
* Touch base with my Spark Friends.
* Blog and post my weekly challenge totals to all.
*Take care of myself.
* Keep up with my Story of Hope[50 most important stories in the Bible] readings.
*Find time for my knitting, creating, and other reading.
I ate 26 Weight watcher points each day. I ate 56 bonus points. I dipped into my activity points by 7 points. Not a bad week, but not a week for a loss either! I had several carbolicious days as well. I need to work on eating more protein. I had 465 activity minutes!...WOOT!
I did my level best to support my fellow accountability bloggers, and I posted my challenge totals. I was pleased with my output for the week.
I read my Bible readings in Deuteronomy for the Wilderness story. I finished book 2 of the Hunger Games series....whoa....I didn't see that coming! I started book 3. I'm in the middle of State of Wonder book on CD by Ann Patchett. It's also getting good! I went to a craft night at my church prepared[I thought] to start cutting a t-shirt quilt for my youngest son. What I actually did was grab the the wrong bag[scraps from the other t-shirt quilt] and couldn't start. I did bring my knitting as a back up though and got some of my hat done. It was a good week for reading. I still need to start that quilt though!!
And now...for a little secret I'm gonna let you in on....
I don't own a scale. I weigh myself at the gym or I use my monthly Weight Watcher weigh in to report the the MIH team. Here's the secret. I sometimes drink water or tea before I weigh in because I get up earlier and don't take a class until 9 AM some days. I'm thirsty. So I guess you could say by normal weighing standards, my weight reporting can be somewhat inconsistent. You are supposed to weigh yourself first thing without eating or drinking naked etc.etc.etc.....I just decided I wasn't gonna let a pound or two be a deal breaker for me and rule my week. If you are always going up a pound....well then there is a problem. If you ride around the same 1-3 pounds, in my world that is maintenance! Again....that is how I roll. I've had scales at home. They have been crap for the most part. I don't want to invest in an expensive one. I'd rather haul myself to the gym and weigh in there. I've been doing it that way for a couple years now. That's it...that's the BIG secret! It's all I got! You guys make it a great week!
