friday nights ...

my family ordered pizza and watched tv tonight ... that's our friday night tradition ... not always, but frequently, we order pizza ..... i had half a piece of pizza and a spinach salad ... and i didn't feel deprived or unhappy or put out or anything negative ... i felt proud for making good choices ... i feel like i can do this ... i am nine pounds down ... feeling like it isn't coming off now as fast as it was when i started ... but nine pounds seems so great to me.... WOW ...nine pounds .... yay me!

i believe i'll be at ten pounds down quite soon .... but it just makes me happy to dream about fifteen pounds down ... or twenty ...

i'm really going to do this ... i can feel it .... i like it ....

    I truly believe when we stop labeling foods as "bad," we do much better. When we know we can eat whatever we want, we own the decision. When we decide to eat something that may not be the best choice, we can do it in moderation and without guilt!

We ordered pizza a few weeks ago. I too had a salad and I ate way less pizza than I previously would have. Normally, I would have had the rest for breakfast and/or lunch the next day. My craving was satisfied and I ended up throwing the leftovers away as they sat in the fridge too long (a rare occurrence).

You have the right attitude! You CAN do it!

    Great job resisting !!! I really love pizza and when I want some, I either have a Lean Cuisine pizza or if we are ordering out , our local pizza joint has a thin crust whole wheat pizza. We get the veggie pizza and ask for only half the regular amount of cheese.
Most places have no problem if you make a request for only half the cheese or just veggies.

Keep up the great work & keep making healthy choices.

    Now go for a walk after eating the pizza. Keep up th good work. If you want it you can do it. I just hit negative 50 today and I feel the same way as you spoke about the next 30- 5 lbs at a time
