Mommy-to-be!!!!

Friday, April 20, 2012

Two weeks ago, I found out that I'm pregnant! My husband and I are so excited!!! I don't go to my first doctors appointment until Monday, but from what I can come up with, I'm around 8 weeks along! So far, no morning sickness!!! emoticon I hope it will stay that way (at least for as long as possible)!! This is my first pregnancy, so I'm learning all kinds of things along the way. We've decided (well my husband decided) to keep the gender of the baby a surprise. I don't really want it to be a surprise, but I guess it could be a good thing. The nursery will be done in Winnie the Pooh, so it will be good for either a boy or girl.

Wow!!! Lovely seeing this blog with such great news!!! I didn't know any of mine (the sex) except for the untra sound which is never 100 percent, in my day anyways. Last baby here 21 years ago. I love the surprise factor, I often feel bad the way things have gone with technology where we don't have many 'surprises' left. I decorate cakes and one cake I could make which I have not had the offer for, is a cake that is either blue or pink inside and the parents have a party and no one knows what the baby's sex is until the cake is cut.(I would have permission for the dr. to tell only me) CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Congratulations! Not everyone has morning sickness, so you may be fine.
When I had my son we did not have the option to find out the gender, but I always felt it was a boy

Congratulations! I did not find out the gender of my two girls either and neither did my sister with her 4 children and, let me tell you,it is AWESOME not knowing what the baby is when it comes out, and being SURPRISED to see "it" for the first time :) :) :) God doesn't give us many surprises, and that's one we can choose to spoil or not. We also did our nursery in Winnie the Pooh. I would love to send you pictures. My husband is a great artist and he painted HUGE pictures/characters on each of the 4 walls using a projector. My girls are now 7 and almost 9 and my 7 year old uses the "nursery" as her room and still LOVES it. Just wanted to share this with you. Good luck and God Bless.

p.s. We have been working on baby #3 since I suffered a m/c in April 2010, so please say a prayer for us as well. Thanks!
