A few words can make a big difference.

Friday, April 20, 2012

I went to the bank today and the cashier (whom I always use) and I always talk about weight loss and what we are trying ever since the day she saw my weight watchers key chain on my purse. Well it has been a while since I have been in and today she says I did not even recognise you at first! How much weight have you lost, I told her quite honestly, none. I am trying so hard but it is not coming off, to which she replied with well, you sure are rearranging it well cause you look great!

Those few words in that last sentance made my day, made my whole week and just made me feel so great. I know I have a long way to go, and a lot of work ahead of me but even if I am not seeing results on the scale something really is working. I think I shall keep doing it and see where this road leads me.

There's all sorts of things that may be going on with your body. You may be gaining muscle and losing fat. Muscle weighs more than fat so that could be what is going on. Are your clothes feeling any different? That's a good sign your gaining muscle and losing fat too. I think it just takes 'tine' for things to happen. That's probably the biggest problem most people have. They don't see results and get discouraged. Yet if you stick with something for a long period of time 'eventially' you'll see results. emoticon
