Day 9-Wiped Out

Day 9

B grapefruit, oranges, bean sprouts, kale--sounds weird, but pretty good

L spinach, tomatoes, carrots, celery

D Romaine, parsley, kiwi, pears--surprisingly good

Oh I canít believe how tired I am. I had a Dr.ís appointment early this morning and then got in a few hours of work and then a blessed nap. I explained to my doc that I was doing this and that since I was superwoman I probably didnít need rest. He grinned.

I stopped at the library on my way home and picked up my book club book that they were holding for me. Itís 550 pages, so Iíll have something to read over the next two days when I do plan to take it easy.

Iíll write more when my brain starts working again.

    Leeney, I am very thrilled that you are listening to the body's needs for rest. We care and will be waiting for you to return refreshed.

Personally I did something I shouldn't have. I drank 2 cups of citrus juice very fast and now my body is telling me to go to bed. I am doing so right now.

    yeah, a nap! Good for you. What book are you going to read? I am always on the look out for a good one.

And, your juices do sound weird! LOL... but I bet they were awesome. Strange, huh? Glad you are seeing your Dr. I need to call mine. Normal yearly stuff. Thanks for the reminder.

    Just to clear up any possible confusion. I do drink about a gallon of juice a day. For example, the yummy blueberry concoction I made this morning provided over a quart of juice. The BL&D 'recipes' that I list are just ingredients for my juices. I was tracking for the first few days of juicing, just to make sure I was getting enough calories, but now I have the hang of it and also trust my body more to let me know what it needs.

    I have been making a gallon plus of juice every day. I also supplement with homemade kombucha which is good for digestion. Drink, drink,, rest, rest.

    Leeney dear, of course you are tired. You are not consuming enough calories! On the Gerson Therapy you drink 13 juices every day.

And as you know, you must ready at first in order to get the benefit of the juice feast. Please don't buck these two bits of information.
