-It's been quite some time since I've had the time to blog! I also haven't been taking too much care in the manner of weight loss, but---at least I haven't gained!
-I am going to try to work some really good meals into my routine. My garden helps with that. I've been munching down a whole lot of asparagus lately. I planted 31 tomato plants, 32 pepper plants, 10 cucumber plants and 16 okra plants this weekend. I started all the seedlings on heat mats and under grow lights in the garage. I kept waiting for the neighbor to have the police check out just what I was growing! Anyhow, three of the cukes already gave up the ghost
Everyone else seems happy enough....Oh, and we invested in two rain barrels!
-My Chinese classes are over for now. I took a really basic one at the "continuing education" at my community college in addition to my online class. I took the continuing education class so I could hear some Chinese in person since my other classes have all been online.
-I have to go to a promotional dinner tomorrow with hubby....really wish I would've lost some weight! Poopers! Anyhow, I am not the "dress up" kind of girly girl...I'm more of the play in the mud and old jeans girl so I will be suffering tomorrow night....maybe I won't have to drink too much to get through it... JUST KIDDING!
-Back to Sparking.....my exercise has been great though, tilling the land, planting the plants. I set up another garden area at the back of my house (about 15x20). I am going to plant flowering herbs, sunflowers and zinnias close to the house and then about 10 ft out I'll plant some oregano, tarragon, etc. I want to go 10 feet out so the bug man's bug juice doesn't get into my plants. Hopefully the 10 ft of other plants will filter any residue out....Must check with the bug man.....worse comes to worse, I'll have him skip that corner. Both the rain barrels are there also but they are pretty self contained. Uh, oh, got off the Spark track again...
-I've also been walking and have a beginner's yoga DVD I've been enjoying. It's morning yoga and it really is refreshing.
