BEING AWARE.......today I did not overeat. I felt satisfied, not full. I felt nourished. I had a good day. It felt good to hit the gym, even though I've lost a lot of stamina from this two week head cold that has now passed. I attended my sons spring program, I resisted the brownies and other treats but ended up eating five (dairy, wheat free) "healthy" fig newtons. It could have been worse. I really wanted the chocolate chip cookies! I felt pretty balanced today. Every day is an opportunity to do better, and it's okay if I'm it's not perfect. I really focused on my food choices and did not engage in "mindless eating".

2 grass fed eggs
32 ounces green smoothie (Swiss chard, coconut water,pear)
Small chopped salad with grilled chicken (black beans, avocado, corn, tortilla chip, all diced)
One cup. Nonfat Greek yogurt, 1 tsp. Raw honey
Orange
5 organic fig newtons
16 ounce high-RNA superfood smoothie with hemp milk and mixed tropical fruit

30 minute jog/run, lots of water, two cups coffee, 1 tbslp. Cod liver oil

    Don't worry about the newtons, you sweat it out anyway. Its ok to have a fuel up day too. This way, come your next workout, you will have more of that stamina back.
