Maybe a different focus will help me on a day to day basis. I will focus on each of my actions and how they contribute to buring 70,000 calories. I should log all my exercise and food and run a daily calorie differential report. I say should, but it's been tough for me to stick to a routine and I donít have much internet time.
We will be living between here and our home in Washington for 6 weeks while renovation work is being done here. I have to pack up everything on the main floor and be ready to move out. When we are here we will be staying upstairs in our bedroom and using that bathroom. I am trying to empty the kitchen, etc.
Lawn bowling update Ė I was unsure if I would have any physical limitations because of my knees but no problem. Temperature at lawn bowling was 50F a little chilly but did it anyway. I noticed the 4 coaches looked quite fit. Each of us had a coach and kept moving the whole time. There were warm up exercises and more walking than I expected. Yes it is exercise. Those lunges I did not do at the gym, got them done on the green!
Water aerobics and walking is enjoyable but I am not getting enough strength training, etc. It takes about 3 weeks for me to get into a gym routine so it's a struggle, but something that must be done. I noticed that I do not have the same strength I had before. As we are moving things around I was suggesting to hubby that he get someone else to do the lifting (not me). I have always lifted my end before and need to step up now.
Today I went to the gym for the second time this week. I read a Time magazine while I biked and listened to my playlist while I did ST. I miss the comraderie of water aerobics and next week I may do both.
I will have 6 chocolate espresso beans, have a quick nap, then get to work.
