Metamucil Orange=Ugh!

From previous experience in trying to lose weight, I know that keeping fiber levels at or above 25g a day means better weight loss for me. This morning as I was grabbing my a bottle of water, I noticed a sample of Metamucil Orange that had come in the other day and decided to give it a try. It's the powder that you mix with water so I mixed it up and sat down with breakfast.

It's awful! Despite the assurance of smooth texture on the pack, it's not. It's gritty and has an aftertaste. It also keeps separating from the water so I have to remix it every time I go to take a sip. I'm half tempted to just dump it, but my inner frugal won't let me waste the bottle of water. The only good thing I can say about it is that it has 5g of fiber.

So I'm just going to chug it and get it over so I can move on to a nice delicious bottle of untainted water. On a good note, I'm probably going to end up with extra water today because it's going to take a couple just to wash this gritty feeling and gross taste out of my mouth.
