this $%#$ plateau, one way or the other. This is getting ridiculous!
Last week: 191.4
This week: 195.6
+4.2 lbs in one week...and I swear my eating has not been that crazy!
So this week in an effort to see if its sodium, etc I'm going to double track -- on etools for the Weight watcher points and here on Sparkpeople for sodium, carbs,etc.
I have to confess one thing... I use a LOT of splenda in my coffee... like 3-4 packs in a cup. Crazy I know. And I didn't realize (until I entered it in the tracker) it could contribute to the calories, carbs,e tc. Yeah..silly of me I admit. So one thing I'm going to work on is trying to cut back on how many packets I use in my coffee. Since beginning this journey I've retrained my tastebuds in a lot of ways, I can do it here too.
I did not strength train last week, but will try to do it again this week... what can I say, I'm stubborn!
I also might see about trying to vary my running a bit... I need to cover some distance to keep preparing for the half..but I have NOT been doing things like hillwork, etc. Maybe I can try that too.
Other than that, I'm surprisingly cool about this whole thing. I mean, I got pizzed a bit, but I'm over it and I'm going to regroup ... going to track like a maniac.. at least that way at least maybe folks can look at my tracker and suggest some changes. (My tracker has always been public.)
I was even toying with the idea of telling my doctor -- look, I'm doing weight watchers (as he knows) and I've been on a plateau these past few months. I feel like I'm doing all the right things... can you give me a referral to a dietician for a consult or something? I figure it can't hurt to ASK, right?
Other than that, not much new...
