I added Spark People about a year ago and never really knew how to use it...not really sure how I ended up here today but I will take that as a sign. I am having a hard time navigating around..but I guess it's like anything you need to get used to it. So here I am, I have recorded all my stats, set my goals and perhaps this is the kick in the pants that I need. Maybe I can find some buddies and learn some things from others. I will try and journal daily and maybe by recording everything I can hold myself accountable.
Have been wanting to journal anyway and this seems to be a great way to maybe see the end goal. My plan is to follow the principals of the eat clean diet from Tosca Reno and also use some of the recipes from Jamie Easons, Live fit trainer on bodybuilding.com. I recently completed phase 1 and phase 2 of the live fit trainer, my results could have been better if I had eaten better. My weight stayed the same but my strength improved (was not really my goal) I want to lose some lbs and inches. It is a great program but phase 3 looked intense and I lost my motivation.
I have been looking at the Jillian Michaels Body Revolution program, perhaps I will review it a bit more before I buy it...or it will be just another part of my collection of beachbody DVD's.
Hope that this is the Fresh start that I need, there must be a reason I stumbled back to this page today..I will go with that!!
