So much Fun!!!

Monday, April 16, 2012

Yesterday I got home from work and asked the Hubby if he was ready to work out. I wasn't sure he would come at Insanity as he has not exercised in years. (although he has a very physical job) He said YES!!! So we got into PURE CARDIO. I was thinking that he was not going to be able to get through the warm up. The warm up is pretty harsh for any of you that haven't done it. Any way he plugged along and did the entire DVD. I think it is great having him do this with me it motivates me alot more to have someone to do it with and I do try to push myself that little bit harder. We are taking before shots of him today I think he will see changes very quickly as he hardly eats and when he does it is crap. He drinks milk coffee's (dare) and has Maccas every morning for breakfast. So today I packed him Walnuts, Curried egg on whole wheat and sent him with fruit and a cheese stick. He says he doesn't have time to eat so I think we will order him his own protein and he can just take that and have shakes during the day when he can't fit in a meal. Well I hope you all have a brilliant day or had, I am off to do my face for work.

I also find it so much more motivating to have a workout buddy - i love it when my DH comes to the gym with me - way to go!
Great idea to focus on hubby's nutrition especially when he is doing heavy cardio with you - protein powder is a good choice if he is eating crap - the lunch you packed sounds delicious - men are such funny creatures when it comes to food - cant find time to take the lid off the lunch box - but plenty of time to line up at Maccas LOL!!!

Great idea getting your hubby a protein supplement! I really enjoy a website called You can make your own custom mix or pick one of theirs. Good stuff! And cheap!

Way to go working out with your hubby! It's SO MUCH MORE MOTIVATING having a workout buddy, huh?! =]=]
