Good Morning

Monday, April 16, 2012

No call from the school. I guess Dutchess has not succeeded in takin it over (yet). It is still early.

I'm not reloading this vlog...I was listening to itunes while uploading...hence the bad audio syncing. (Note to self...don't do that.)

From homeschool to Public.
Katie started it.
It's probably the boys, but, we'll give her the benefit of the doubt and believe her when she says it's the Phys. Ed. that she's gaga about. She's a tad competitive and she can whip everybody's butt here, so, she needs to move onto greener pastures. The younger boys followed along once the option was opened to them. Sarah will go in the fall. She's hanging around here with me so I don't go into complete Culture Shock.
I've been contemplating this change since Migraine Mayhem of '11 and I was spending 2-3/5 days a week in agony in a dark room. It's nigh impossible to education children, care for them and be a loving human being when you want to die. I'm a lot better now, but, the damage from that much pain has left a feeling of overall weakness and bruising. I feel very mentally fragile.
I jumped on this transition like a Diva on a Diamond. ;)
Yes, it is my dream to teach my children at home, but, I know that 'paper thin' feeling.

By enrolling them this week instead of waiting until September as I had originally intended, my Joseph has a 7 month advantage and a personal E.A. A student in his very grade is moving this week. Because Jojo is mild (un-diagnosed aspergers with a severe speech impediment) if we waited until the fall it would be November until everything would be in the works (by everything, I mean therapists). With this student moving and leaving a vacancy, Jojo has the advantage of a Educational Assistant to help him transition and leap on his speech work. It was a miracle. No therapists were willing to help him at home once he hit school age. I was not able to help him any further.
I was concerned for David and his reluctancy with reading and the entered him in to keep with his peer group, when we met his class they were all sweet little kids and my anxiety was completely deflated. His teachers all were kind and looked as though they were all ready to equip and not belittle.
Katie is 3 years ahead in the math they are teaching and is convinced she is ready for "Mensa International"...

Oh girrlllllllllllllllllllll...I''m so jelly!! I am so close to getting into the size 10 jeans I bought for motivation but lately I'm pretty sure they are getting tighter, I can get in them and zip 'em but I can't sit down and have a heckl of a muffin top! haha

OMG, with your long legs, Capri's have to be super cute!! I'm freaking 5' 2" but NO ONE will ever know it! Even my sneakers have some height, even after I broke my ankle on my PLATFORM sneakers I went back to wearing them for awhile! haha

You absolutely and with completely innocent intentions MUST get and wear a cougar sweatshirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, give me the school website and I will SO get one! haha

I'm proud of you for letting the kids go to public school. Iknow that has to be scary in lots of ways but I bet they will be awesomely acclimated in no time!
(P.S I'm resubscribing AGAIN to everyone since SP won't keep me updated, they hate me...they really hate me.....haha)

Wow, it really IS quiet there! Wait, is Gigantor still there? I thought I heard him.
EEEEEEE TEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO to the HOO!!!!!!!!!!
Nah, you can do it without fasting. No prob.
emoticon emoticon
Whoa, Nana is pretty tall to me. She would be the Hobbit Queen.
COUGAR!!! ROFL!!!! Tell them you're willing to dress up like the school mascot. Bwahahahaha
Honey, she's a school secretary. She probably needs the sparkle, to counteract the effects of that many sweaty, noisy children in one building. Does she have a bazillion pencils in her hair, like the chick on Ferris Bueller? Save Ferris!
I bet the kiddos are having a great day and will have all kinds of stuff to tell you when they get home.

Yes, Yes, I am out here... (sounds really echoey)
The kids will settle in well, praying it all goes smoothly. they will love the interaction with the other kids. Don't worry about their clothes, I am sure you have them dressed nicely.
Congrats on your size 10!!! So happy for you!!
Do you really find fasts to help you? I haven't done them and wonder if I should. I am a type 1 diabetic, don't know if I can.
We do feel more energetic as we lose that weight. Have to carry our own pillow for our skinny butts from now on.
LOL! You are so right they do think we want everyone to lose now. I truly do not judge, I know what it feels like to be judged and never want to make someone else feel that way.
LOL! A pink Cougar Sweatshirt?! Maybe we all need one!
Have a great day Liz,

emoticon emoticon Awesome on the new size. You've worked hard for it.

Are you enjoying the quiet or do you miss the busyness of all your babies at home? You'll soon begin to LOVE that quiet time trust me.

I eat my peanut butter sandwich with just peanut butter. emoticon Do you like smooth or crunchy? I'm a crunchy gal.

I follow your train and keep up but when the sound and mouth are doing two different things that is when I close my eyes. emoticon Just messin'. emoticon

Hope you have a super day and do NOT get that headache you felt coming on.
