Good morning everyone!
This is what I have been doing: I feel glad about making the choice to get some exercise in before it gets way too hot out this afternoon. I was able to walk 1.6 miles in thirty minutes. I am happy with that. I did notice my muscles were sore beginning the walk and it subsided a bit but returned pretty quickly. My tummy is feeling hungry too. I have a banana and three more Cuties to eat this morning.
This is what is planned for the rest of the day: Meet my counselor Amy at 1pm. I need to pick up my son at 330pm. I also need to go meet the Nutritionist at 430pm. (On a side note, I want to call the Nutritionist up now to see if she can schedule me in sooner.)
Here are some few random thoughts twirling around my head: I saw on someone else's blog that they planned exercise into their day. I want to do that too. I also have an idea that maybe I can wake up earlier to get in exercise in the morning before my son awakes, but then on the other hand I don't want my son to wake up in the house alone without me there. That would be horrible. So, skip the going out walking before my son wakes up. Maybe I can do a ten minute exercise video. If I do that, I can do potentially do two other ten minute videos in my day. How cool is that? How about setting up walking days and non-walking days? That's a thought.
Plan for today:
1. I got up at 7am.
2. I ate breakfast at 8am.
3. I read my devotionals by 830am.
4. I met with my doctor at 9am.
5. I went walking for 1.6 miles at 930am.
6. I ate cottage cheese and some Cuties for snack.
Right now, I think I am going to e-mail my deacon about a concern, and then I am going to go home and eat lunch before going to counseling at 1pm. After counseling, I am going to go back home, do a ten minute exercise video and then take a nap before picking up my son. Taking a nap will help me catch up on only sleeping from around 145am to 715am. Note to self...I need my 8 hours. I don't care what I said earlier about being okay with not sleeping 8 hours. Getting proper sleep will help me be energized enough throughout my day.
I hope you are having a good start to your week. Focus on what you can do. Think of all of the people here sparking you along. We deserve good health.
OH SNAP! I forgot to post this. Last night just after my last blog post, I pulled out my measuring tape, and you know I was SURPRISED to see the tape measure went around my whole waist. So, yea for my non-scale victory. I forget how many inches different the measuring tape read.
