Loved my first game of golf this year . . . . only nine holes because it was supposed to rain and for that reason I'd been to the gym first to make sure I got some exercise . . . then ran out of steam.

But it was so great to get out on the course! Fuzzy green leaves already. Huge chorus of birds everywhere too: robins, song sparrows, red-winged blackbirds. And spring peepers, which means we can expect herons soon!

DD took a picture of me on the front lawn in my cowboy boots . . . and no, didn't wear that ensemble to the golf course!!
