Baby Bus is here!

Well baby bus has arrived! I have to sit here and think about how many days since he made his entrance, the days seem to run together. So here is my birth story.
I had an appointment on Thursday the 5th doctor swept my membranes and was convinced she would be seeing me that night or the next day. She was wrong, lol. I had did have contractions everyday after that for 4-6 hours at a time. After 5 days of this I was getting pretty frustrated. Not knowing if this was it or not was beginning to wear on me.
The night of my birthday the 10th I started having contractions again. After 6 hours of constant contractions I finally called my doc and 12am and she said come on in. Of course after she calls the contractions slowed and then pretty much stopped. But I had already gone to the trouble and went in anyway. I got there around 1am and was dilated to 4cm which is what I was at my last appointment. Thankfully my contractions started up again a little so I didnt feel like such an idiot for coming in.
My doctor checked on my at around 8am and decided to go ahead and break my water. Things picked up a little. 30 mins later contractions were full force so i called for my wonderful epidural. Around 9:30 I was in agony as they were trying to put the epi in . During the process I felt the uncontrollable urge to push. The doctor barely made it in time. I went from 6cm to he is definitely ready in about 10mins. So unfortunately I did not get the wonderful effects of my epidural.
I remember thinking early when my husband said something about natural child birth that if it happened to me I would be fine. That God designed us to do this. Little did I know that that is exactly what I would be doing. After only about 8 pushes our little bundle of joy arrived at 10:06am on April 11th. He weighed 8lbs 8oz and was 21 in. long. I am so thankful that even though I didnt get my pain meds he came pretty quickly.
My husband did such a wonderful job handling me being in so much pain. I am so thankful for him. Because this time I truly could not have done it without him.The hospital staff was excellent especially the nurse that was there for me during my labor. So was so supportive and kind. My previous labor experience wasn't horrible but it doesn't even compare to how great it was this time.
Lol oh and we officially named him Isaac Elijah Ray!
Postpartum I am doing well. My stomach is going down a lot faster than I thought. I was dreading looking huge afterward. I went in at about 214lbs with clothes on . I am now down to 198lbs. Let me tell you seeing 199 on that scale felt so good!!
Breast feeding is going well. We had a really rough day yesterday and I was about ready to through in the towel I even pulled out a bottle. Turns out he had really bad gas and after solving that things are much better. My milk has finally come in at a good amount. He is a very easy baby and I am extremely thankful. Hannah is thrilled to be a big sister. She wants to hold him all the time and gets a little upset with me that she cant. She wants to teach him everything she says if only he would open his eyes and look lol.
Here are my starting postpartum pics for my comparrison.
