I have always loved fresh pineapple, but not enough to take on my fear of them fighting me tooth and nail as I tried to cut it into tasty little bite-sized bits. Ridiculous, I know.

Well, last week they were only 99 cents at Aldi, so, I decided it was time to take one on. Now, it may have been have sharp my knife was, but I found it way easier to cut up then cantaloupe or watermelon - which I cut up all the time with reckless abondon. In fact, I wished that I had another one to cut up, I was having fun! My beautiful little fruit came with suggested cutting directions, and they did not let me down.

{ Cut off the "hat", as I call it. Cut it in half, then halve each of them again. Then, slice off the middle rind, slice against the back, chop up the rest. }

I am delighted to report that they are on sale again this week for 99 cents and I am going to get one. Or maybe two. Mmm mmm mmm.

It was quite possibly the most delcious pineapple I have ever had : )
