Cooky Recipe Number 3: Chocolate Drop Cookies

Sunday, April 15, 2012

They really go for cakey type cookies in this book. I made one of the variations and added some chocolate chips...actually I added some chocolate coffee chips. I had ordered them for Passover but they arrived on Friday and I never got a chance to use them so I decided I'd put them in my first non-Passover baking.

They look delicious as I am sure they tasted that way too! emoticon
So, do the chocolate coffee chips have caffiene in them? Just curious, as I am not a coffee drinker.

Have a great day.

Of course chocolate coffee chips. The only reason Betty didn't add them is because they didn't exist when that book came out. They look so good! I don't remember my mother ever making those, maybe she did but didn't share them;)

They look good, but I'm with you, not a huge fan of the cakey cookie. Bake away, my friend!

Tommy Nat! I will have to look up those chips. Is it a noticeable coffee flavor?

Good thing I don't like coffee.

But I did find a gluten free, kosher for Passover dessert Thursday in the store . . . Like ring dings . . . they were awesome . . .Lloyd even brought the last couple into work to share.

Ok must find these chocolate coffee chips! I'm not a cakey fan. Love chewies! I haven't decided which cookie to bake today. Now I'm wishing I had some of those chips....

I spy your Cuisinart Griddler in the background. That is one of my favorite gadgets. It puts a perfect crust on a panini and makes a quick grilled chicken breast.
