So I've been trying to eat fruit every night at work (on the night shift again) and tonight I also wanted to eat my yogurt. So I was thinking, well I'll try it as a dip, if that doesn't work then I'll eat it separately. Well to my surprise it does go well together. The fruit is a mix of cantaloupe, honey dew, grapes, and pineapple from Wal-mart (the seasonal blend). And the yogurt is Oikos French Vanilla. It kind of tastes like the Cream Cheese Fruit Dip, but a little different. So I looked up a random brand of the cream cheese dip and for 2 tbsp (30 g), it is 80 calories. Oikos French Vanilla has 120 calories for 150 g. So you can eat five times as much for nearly a quarter of the calories. I think that's a bargain. I probably won't have it all that often but it's nice to know of a good alternative for when I want the cream cheese dip (which I only ever have at parties). I mean...when are you ever going to only eat 2 tbsp of cream cheese in one sitting? That stuff can be it's own food group, it's so amazing!!!
