I joined the gym! Now to figure out the eating thing lol

So I completed my first 5k and decided my reward would be a gym membership. I have been loving it! I love the classes they offer, there is a nutritionist on site, and they have all kinds of programs to help us stay motivated. I need to start tracking my food though because I feel that I am still falling down in that department. Do you guys follow the food program on here or do something else? I am trying to figure this out but want to still have delicious meals for my husband. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    I use SP to enter my food, but I adjusted my ratios to 45% carbs, 20% fat, and 35% protein. That is on the high end of the USDA recommended amount of protein, and low end for carbs. I tend to feel "fuller" when I eat more protein.

    I don't follow a food program I just enter my food and make sure I'm within my calorie levels. The main thing I had to change was portion size as the meals I was having was fairly healthy, I just ate too much of it and ate too many snacks. If the meals you eat are too calorie intensive there are always great tasting recipes on Spark Recipes. :)
