Fall in Love in under a Second.

Saturday, April 14, 2012

"No... ohhhhh."
That's what happened when the proud papa placed his newborn into my youngest son's (Hoppy) arms. I was totally enamored with our little girl. She came two weeks earlier that expected, but that's okay... I think the due date was wrong.
This just proves that things do not always go as planned. Mom, Dad and baby are all fine. she weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz and is 20 3/4 inches. I love her and her birthday 4-12-12.
Over all I made better food choices this time out to Syracuse. I chose soup and salad over burger and fries. I brought my snacks for the ride up and back. I won't tell you about my bad food choice, I was treating the new dad and the restaurant choice was his, the good options were not to my liking. I still needed to eat. Learning opportunity. One bad doesn't negate all the good and I am back on track. Like I said I do not want to be known as the fat grandmother.

How exciting for you and the new parents!

Congrats on your good choices, which totally outweighed the one "bad." And life goes on, so we just have to roll with the punches.

I'm so happy about your darling new granddaughter...did they name her yet? (Somehow I don't think Eggberta will make the cut!)

What special times. And you're absolutely right one 'bad' does not negate. You have so much wonderfulness to impart to that little one, what a gift of a grandmother!
