It almost seems funny to say that I have had a good month, since my weight loss in the past month was zero..lol. The funny thing is that my weight gain was also zero.
It was a good month because my exercising has been good and for the past three weeks I have been in training for my 32km walk in September. The long walks have felt great. My food choices have been okay. I know that my portions could be better, but it is a work in progress.
There have been several stresses in the past few weeks and I have not let them derail me. In the past, I would have allowed my emotions to control my eating and exercising and used the stress as an excuse. This time I was not perfect, but that is ok. I did continue to do my best and I managed to get through the stresses without losing my focus.
This is how I know that the changes I have made are permanent.
It has also been a good month because I am seeing many members of my family making some healthy lifestyle choices. Each person is doing it their own way which is great and we are all encouraging each other. That is what family is!!
I wish all Sparkers a healthy April and hope that each one of you is successful at whatever you set as your goals.
