Father God, Your Word tells us to cast our burdens on You. There are times when we have been bearing it all, but we need to deliberately place one end on Your shoulder. We need to commit to You whatever burden has been placed on us. We can’t just cast it aside, but we need to put it over onto You and place ourselves there with it. We will see that our burden is then lightened by the sense of companionship with You. We should never try to separate ourselves from our burden. That only works for a short period of time. Help us to remember that You humble and test Your children so that in the end it might go well with us. You do not humble and test us to bring us low and cause us to fail but instead to teach us how to succeed in You. Amen.
