Just a little sad

Friday, April 13, 2012

My honey left early this morning for Pennsylvania. He will stay for 3 weeks to visit with the grandkids and be there for Lyla's 4th birthday. My video turned out good so hope she will enjoy that.
Even though I am just a bit sad and will miss him, I am turning his absense into a positive and will be eating right and exercising more. I will take this opportunity to really get in shape for my visit up to Pennsylvania at the end of May. So not much tempations to eating out and the wrong foods in the house for me!!
Hope all my sparks buddies are doing well.
Have a great day and super week end.
Sallie

My honey is gone for 2 weeks and I'm enjoying it so far so hope you enjoy it, too, even though we both miss our husbands.

I would be totally lonely if my Hubby left me for 3 weeks. I would definitely lose weight as I would not eat that much. I hate to eat alone and find reasons for not eating. I have to force myself to have a eveing meal as that is his work shift. I know you will be excited about go up at the end of May to visit.

    Just a little jealous!
It's so much easier to eat better and work out more when they're otherwise engaged.
Enjoy the solitude.

Don't know if I'd like my DH being gone for 3 weeks but glad you can make the most of it.

I agree with some of the others, enjoy your time alone and concentrate on eating better and sticking to your goals! I always do better when I am alone! Good luck Sallie! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Sallie, it's nice to have some "me" time for myself when hubby travels every once in a while. It sounds like you've got a good plan during your hubby's absence. Enjoy!......Patti

It is great that you can see this as a positive experience to focus on you. I know how difficult it is.... with husband and kids, we tend to get lost.

Make the most of your time alone! You'll miss your DH but sometimes some alone time is great.
