Joined Better Sleep Challenge

Morning! I have joined the Better Sleep Challenge because I have seen how so many medical conditions are related to quantity and quality of sleep. As I said in my intro to the team ...
I have several medical conditions and living proof that not getting the right amount of sleep is detrimental to your health. Trying...wrong...trying is lying...I am WORKING at keeping a regular bedtime ...when I do I see great results. I want/ need to get back to this being a habit as I know and have seen it to be so beneficial. It is amazing how just one night of not getting to bed at a regular time can mess up your sleep rhythms, blood pressure and blood sugar readings, and how you will tend to eat more as you try to compensate for the loss of sleep. Here's to better health with a good nights sleep! I was instructed to track my details on my Sparks this is the first of my BSC blogs. First step I took the Sleep Quiz 9/10...agreed with everything but the hot bath a warm bath yes but not a hot bath. 8 hours sleep last night and a very busy day scheduled. Next step evaluating DAILY how much sleep I received and its quality , my diet, and stress level. WOW do you think I could sleep away my pounds? Here's to a lesser me with greater self-esteem.

    Sleep is essential, just as exercise is. I have a sleep disorder but since I have been exercising I usually average 7 hours a night & feel so much better for it. I hope you have good luck with your challenge!
