A long marriage

Thursday, April 12, 2012

Okay so I've been married for 42 years and I am listening to the long version of "Alice's Restaurant" because he wants to listen to it! 18 min and 20 seconds! I'm a saint. LOL

I am very grateful for a good husband. He was so sweet tonight when we had to go to the Chamber of Commerce dinner because I had to speak to the group about the quilt show. He drove me to the door so the wind wouldn't mess my hair. He's a keeper.

I didn't get all my errand done. I still feel it was a good day. I managed to eat 1600 calories which is only 100 over what I wanted. It's those darn corn chips and salsa!

Trying to stay mindful even though we are very busy.

I have got to keep thinking of Spark which is why I don't miss posting if at all possible.

To my Spark Friends I will be back to posting on your sites when I get back in a routine.

Thanks to all of you for keeping an eye on me!

My one year anniversary was yesterday, I pray to God that we can make it 42 years or longer :). I hope you have a great weekend!

Sounds like you are doing well on the transition to America. Don't beat yourself up over the tortilla chips. You tracked it and that is the important thing. As long as it is occasional and not the rule you will be fine!
