Well, here I am on April Break. (I work in an elementary school for those of you that don't know.) It has been so difficult for me since Good Friday, almost a week ago, to get/stay on track with my calories. This always happens when I am not living on my normal Monday - Friday schedule. I honestly have no one to blame but myself. I sabotage myself in the worst ways, like making every excuse not to exercise, and every reason why it is absolutely okay to eat 3/4 of an Italian Cream Pie. Yikess! I am the only one to blame. However, I am very proud of myself for having two very successful gym trips this week (2.5 hrs each).
Today I have my Turbo Kick class that I take a the Rec Dept. It's 45 min and I swear the instructor is on speed, or maybe just Redbull ;) I like her alot, she has alot of positive energy, (which I need at 7:50 at night).
It really doesn't help my motivation this week that my sister and I got into a HUGE fight on Easter, (which happens often, she is bipolar). And of course my mother ALWAYS takes her side. So annoying! I swear I was born into the wrong family. Somehow everything is always MY fault, no matter what the situatin is. Ugh, so this week I hate them both. HAHA.
Let's see what else do I want to get off my chest.....
Oh yes, I tried a free CrossFit class this past weekend. VERY FUN! I fell in love and it wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be, or maybe I am in better shape than I think ;) We used the rowing machines (which my gym doesn't have) and then did alot of interval things, 20 seconds each, then get back on the rower. Wall Squats, lunges, burpees, etc. I know alot of people that have got in serious shape by doing CF. I am talking like diesel status. As much as I would loooove to join, it is sooo expensive. I cannot justify paying $150 for 2 weeks of On Ramp Classes (to introduce the equipment/workouts) then it's $116 a month after that. Yikes! I don't think so. I am trying to save up for a house and I would rather see that money going in the bank. I can however still do alot of the workouts at home, or in my own gym (Planet Fitness). $21 a month is more my style.
I am going to finish digesting my lunch, perhaps go for a run and try a "sexy legs" workout I found on Pinterest ;) Have a good week/weekend. I am looking forward to my massage tomorrow to relieve some of this stress/tension I have this week.
