Blood pressure and pulse

This morning about 15 minutes after I finished breakfast I felt my blood pressure and pulse rise. I checked both and BP was 178/91 and my heart rate was 104. That is VERY abnormal for me. My blood pressure runs around 140/82 and my resting heart rate is between 70 and 80. Not great number, I know, but far from what I got this morning.

Breakfast was 3 oz shredded chicken, 3 eggs and 1/2 cup cottage cheese. I'm wondering if it was a reaction to the cottage cheese. This is pretty much the first dairy I've eaten since I started the Leptin Reset. I am prone to food reactions, so uncovering a reaction to dairy would not be unusual for me.

I took 2 cloves of garlic to bring my blood pressure down. It was, of course, effective.

I will keep watching my BP and take garlic regularly to keep it down, if I need to. I think I'll stay away from dairy for a few weeks and then try again. If it happens after eating dairy again, then I'll have my explanation.

    COQ10 can lower blood pressure too. There are several other herbs that naturally lower BP as well. (I'm an herbalist.) Let me know if you ever need the list.

    Wow - never heard of the garlic for blood pressure! I don't have high blood pressure but I will keep that nugget stored away to share with any of my friends that have that problem. Have a super day!
