My experiment with thinking Power Thoughts to improve my confidence is working better than I ever dreamed! Here are some examples of Power Thoughts I am using:
I am strong.
I am confident.
I am wise.
I am good.
As you can see, they are very simple, but do not let the simplicity fool you. These thoughts are very powerful when used properly. When I start to feel anxious or stressed, or when I recognize myself having a negative thought, I use my power thoughts to counteract the negative thought.
For example, I might have a worrying thought about going to the grocery store to buy mustard greens. Instead of dwelling on this thought, I banish it with my power thoughts by thinking, "I am strong. I am strong. I am strong. I am wise. I am diligent." Then, when I go to the grocery store to buy the mustard greens, I am confident and able to enjoy the experience because my Power Thoughts have stopped me from thinking negative thoughts. This works exceptionally well.
Remember that your Power Thoughts will always be fighting on your side against negative thinking. I only use the Power Thoughts when I have negative thoughts and feel anxious or stressed. Use them when you need them, and you will be rewarded with increased confidence and energy.
