Bad fibromyalgia day today, ugh. But - I walked down to get the mail today at work (10 minutes) and did as much of my scheduled weight training as I could (6 out of 8 exercises). My previous routine would have been to come home and collapse in front of the computer and just wallow in the pain. Instead I reminded myself that sticking with the exercise will ultimately make that pain more manageable. Oh, and found a BARGAIN at Big Lots. EA Sports Active 2 Personal Trainer for the PS3. It comes with the motion sensor bands for the wrists and thigh (one of which is also a heart monitor) and an exercise band and works with Playstation Move. It has both strength training and cardio as well as assorted other features that can be tracked online. Even better - it was only $15.00 - less than half the price it sells for at Gamestop. It looks like it's a bit more intense than I'm ready for just yet, but I'll let you know what it's like when I get there.
I'm also under my calories limit and well balanced, even with my one soda included. I absolutely must recommend the Spark Recipe for Honey Balsamic Chicken - excellent and only 173 calories per serving.
So, in spite of not feeling well all day and being in pain tonight, it's been a fairly good day.
