I wake up hungry most mornings.
Since my alarm clock goes off at least 10 hours after my last meal of the night, maybe this shouldn't surprise me, but it's a change that just started last week. Before then, I was fine going straight to the gym in the morning and then having my breakfast after.
So I shifted my food intake around. I started having a smoothie before the gym, followed by my usual breakfast.
The problem? I've been using way too many calories in the morning, leaving me too few for later and hungry in the afternoon.
So, now I am trying to play calorie tetris...moving things around to satisfy my hunger.
Tomorrow I will have hot cereal before I workout and my smoothie after the gym and see how that goes.
I figure this is just what you do...the pieces are different shapes, but to make them fit you twist and turn them and put them in different spots.
Meals are the same.
