Wow, didn't realize how long it'd been since I'd written anything in here....
Appt was yesterday! I'm 23wks today.
Well, for starters I got fussed at about my weight. So far I've gained 12 lbs and I still have a bit to go... Gotta cut out several things and the candy and soft drinks are the first to go... Actually the first to go are cereals. I didn't say how much I ate BUT I do eat a lot of cereal. I haven't in the last 2 weeks cause of moving BUT before that I was getting up about 2 or 3 am and eating a bowl of cereal about every night. It's soooo easy. Plus raisin bran was the only thing that keeps me half way regular. BUT I'm not allowed ANY cold cereals at all. Not even cheerios or Kix. She said that they are all empty calories and even though they say they are full of vitamins you don't get near the vitamins in them that you get in fresh fruit and veggies. Of course I love fresh fruit but in the middle of night when you wake up starving the LAST thing you want is a banana or an apple. Eck. I want good sugary cereal. lol. But I also don't want to diabetes or to gain so much I'm miserable either. Gotta find me a happy medium.
It's a girl!!! :-D AND a healthy girl at that. Looks like she's got all the correct parts in all the correct places and looking great. She kept opening and closing her mouth like she wanted to talk. That's my girl, ;-) hehe! Of course after seeing that my DH new it was a girl before the doc said so, lol. It was cute. She was moving her arms a lot and her mouth. Chubby little cheeks too. :-) Can't wait to hold her. He positioning was odd and looked uncomfortable. She was breach butt down but her legs were thrown up over her head. lol. He actually feet were above her head. I can't imagine how that feels. She's been moving a lot since yesterday so maybe she found her way out of that position.
We've decided on a name. At least the first name anyway. Rachel Erin
We're not completely set on the middle name but about 90% sure. I do want Rachel no matter what though. :-)
Can't believe I'll be 6 month preggers soon. On one hand it seems like it's taking forever to get to the end but on the other I can't believe it's already been 6 months. :-) I'm so ready to have a baby in my arms though. :-D
