My Alarm Robbed Me!

Wednesday, April 11, 2012

So last night my alarm goes off and I quickly jumped out of bed, changed into my workout clothes and rushed downstairs to do level 3 of my 30 day shred workout. As I was changing I remember thinking that someone must have stolen some of my sleep hours, because I was not feeling quite as rested as I usually do after a good night's sleep.

After the 3DS workout, I started doing some step-ups as I watched the doctors on telly.

That's weird - who changed the tv schedules without consulting me? I usually watch CSI at this time.

Just then my husband comes downstairs and asks why I am up so early. All along I had not bothered to check the time. I remember looking at the clock in the living room, but I focused more on the minute hand and not on the hour hand. Oh my - instead of waking up at 3.45a.m, I had actually woken up at 11.45p.m. and started my workout at around midnight. The blasted alarm clock robbed me blind. No wonder I was struggling through the 3DS workout!

Well, at that time I had very few options. I completed my one hour of workout, jumped into the shower then went back to bed. Getting back to sleep was not easy because I could feel a few nagging hunger pangs, which I struggled to ignore.

I want that alarm clock arrested!
