New things I'm going to try to see if it helps:
I will be trying to follow the SP meal plan for the week to see if it is easier than trying to plan on my own. My kids are going to do it with me! It's nice to have them helping me.
I will also be trying to get up early to exercise, instead of "trying" to find time. It is too easy to skip when I don't MAKE time.
My life as a homeschool mom is so busy. I love it though and wouldn't trade it for anything. My DD (15)is teaching violin lessons to her very first student! I'm so proud of her! She is has been playing violin for 9 years. She will also be tutoring 3 other students until the regular teacher comes back from maternity leave. This will be such a good experience! DD also takes piano lessons. DS (12) is keeping busy with practicing his compound bow for hunting with DH. He is also on a bowling team that is in first place for the second year in a row. He bowls an average of 106. He also takes drum lessons. Add in school, church, educational programs, school work and the rest of life, well it makes for a busy week. But full of laughter, fun and love.
Easter was great! He is risen! He is risen, indeed! I am so glad to be a child of God. I need His grace and mercy daily to keep going! We had my parents, brothers, in-laws, nieces and nephews and a dear friend over for dinner. There were 18 of us in all! But what fun! I love it when we are all together, laughing and remembering old times. All too soon, my parents and DH's parents will be gone and there will be nothing left but photos and memories, so we are trying to build them up whenever we can! My sister brought a duckling over for my kids! They are so happy about it. We named him Fred and he is the cutest thing! Today we will go get Fred a friend. You just can't have a lonely duckling!
I hope everyone in Sparkland is doing well and had a blessed Easter!
