I had a truly amazing visit back home for Easter and truly made the most of it in every way! I visited with friends I had not seen in a long time, took great pictures and well - was off routine and ate so much - I'll be full for a week. I'm thankful to be back to routine today and for the short work week ahead!
I visited with my 3 great nephews - one turns 3 today
and the others are around 8months old each (born a week apart). It was also the monthly 'music Jam session' at the park so we got to listen to great music!
I also visited with my friend and her daughter who has cerebal palsy - who will be undergoing major surgery on Wednesday to straighten her spine (which is currently at 90 degrees curvature). I pray all will go well and that she will have a better quality of life afterwards... She is 19 and if she doesn't have the surgery - she would be bed ridden for life and in so much pain. This is a picture of the beautiful Kyla...
Me and my youngest had our hair done up too while visiting - always a great bargain with my haidresser...
I still prefer my curls to the 'straight' look : )
Me and a good friend ... it was great to exchange our exercise routines and health habits.
The weather was beautiful the entire time I was visiting - it was a great time but I was happy to be back home too! Going away makes one appreciate the life at home too.
This week's plan - back to my workouts and healthy eating. Back to my weigh ins on Sunday (up about 5lbs with the visiting).
Looking forward to catching up with everyone!
