Well its the end of day 1 when it comes to utilizing Spark People and I have to say that it has been very successful. I used the nutritional tracker for the first time today and at first I thought it would be scary and hard to use but I got the hang of it pretty fast and its so easy now I know I will be utilizing it on a daily basis. The other thing that I love about it is that even for only this first day, I'm keeping an eye on what I put into my mouth and its making me that much more accountable as to what I consume ~ amazing what being held accountable does! I also began the 4-week sugar detox challenge and while today I did cheat a little bit, because I'm more conscious about the fact that I am putting sugar into my body I didn't eat as much today as I would have before. Now mind you it doesn't help that there are Easter chocolates that my parents got me sitting on my night stand only a few feet from my bed, but somehow I managed to keep my nibbling to a minimum. Its gonna take awhile to get used to these changes but as I've said before, its all about baby steps!
